Sbarrow has quite a few new vegan-friendly options other than just a simple cheese-less vegetable-pizza or salad, including vegan-friendly potato wedges and roasted vegetables among other goodies.
Table of Contents
Ultimately while at Sbarrow you’ll likely have to order a custom pizza or pick from a few sides, as generally they do not have already-made vegan pizza to order by the slice, but you’ll have no trouble eating vegan at Sbarro as they have adequate options and quality.
Vegan Pizza Options at S’barro:
- NY-Style Pizza Crust
- Roman-Style Pizza Crust
- Tomato Sauce
- Black Olives
- Mushrooms
- Onions
- Spinach
- Red Bell Pepper Slices
- Green bell Pepper Slices
- Tomato Slices
Some locations may also have Oregano or Basil seasoning to put on top. Sbarro’s Garlic Sauce is also Vegan-friendly, so if you want a dipping sauce to flavor your pizza up, get it. It might not be as tasty as Papa John’s Garlic Sauce, which is out-of-this-world disgusting good (and artery clogging).
Vegan Appetizers & Sides at Sbarro:
- Hells Kitchen Potato Wedges
- Potato Wedges
- Garlic and Romano Dusted Wedges
- Small Spaghetti Bowl (with tomato sauce)
- Roasted Potatoes
- Mixed Vegetables
- White Rice
- Mixed-Vegetable Rice
- Garlic Dipping Sauce
- Pizza Sauce
- French Toast (some locations, not all)
Sbarro can technically produce vegan-friendly bread-sticks as well, and some locations do — however ordering them is not consistent and apparently is often refused, so if you want you can try your luck and specify you want plain breadsticks with no butter/cheese/etc on them, however don’t count on them being available.
Vegan Salads & Dressing at Sbarro:
- Garden Salad
- Pasta Salad (New!)
- Tomato & Cucumber Salad
- Fruit Salad
- Italian Salad Dressing
- Lite Italian Salad Dressing
If you’re getting a salad don’t be shy — ask for some pizza toppings like olives or bell peppers on it; generally the staff won’t mind throwing a bit on your salad and it really takes it up a notch, adding lots of texture and freshness to an otherwise quite bland lettuce-filled salad.
Vegan Desserts at Sbarro:
- Fruit Salad
Sbarro doesn’t offer any “real” vegan desserts, so your best bet would just be a simple fruit salad. I wouldn’t recommend it to be quite honest, as the two times I’ve had it the fruit was…not very sweet and up to par, but I am still a bit of a fruit snob from my fruitarian days.
